Learning Skills For Life

 

Reach Opportunity Centre is an innovative purpose built day centre for young adults with learning disabilities. The Centre offers a unique approach to post 18 life providing individually designed and tailored learning programmes whilst continuing to develop essential life skills.

 

What we can offer

 

A programme designed and overseen by qualified experienced staff.
Programmes individually designed and tailored to meet different individual needs and interests.
Use of symbols and strategies to support differing learning styles, with the focus on developing skills for life.
Regular meetings to review progress and set targets.

We aim to promote Independence, develop personal skills and self-confidence.
Learning will be fun and disguised in real life situations whilst continually promoting independence.
 

The provision is set in 3 acres of stunning Somerset countryside that we will utilise to develop social enterprise opportunities. 

All our programmes are accompanied by guidance and support for the students and their parents or carers

 

Social Enterprise
 

The reach opportunity centre has a number of small micro business that organically grow and expand alongside the growth and development of the students that participate in running them.

The Social Enterprise is the focus and context for real work experience, designed to encourage and develop essential real life and work related skills.
All our Businesses are fully supported in the safe environment of the Reach Opportunity centre.
