Facilities at the Reach opportunity Centre

 

The Reach Opportunity Centre is a barn conversion set in 3 acres of stunning Somerset countryside. The centre is brightly coloured, funky but practical. The main room offers capacity to have meetings, access the internet and perform various workshops and work related tasks. There are two spaces either end that can be utilised for meetings, IT Sessions, small group work or just as chill out zones. We have a fully fitted kitchen where fresh meals are prepared and cooked daily. In addition the kitchen is also used as a food preparation area for one of the enterprise businesses, this room can be accessed by a side doorway or through the main workroom. Towards the back of the building we have a staged sitting/bedsit room that is used to teach Life skills.
The toilets and shower rooms can be accessed via a door off the main work area and also directly from the outside animal care areas and garden areas.
All of our indoor areas are heated, bright coloured and welcoming.

Outside we have a fully fitted and stocked wood work unit where furniture making and maintenance is taught. We also have a mobile shop that is very popular with the local community.

On site we  have access to a large print and design studio which forms another one of our enterprise businesses.
