THE GARDEN GANG
The Reach opportunity centre is set in 3 acres of stunning Somerset countryside.
This has been sectioned into three large areas that the students will utilise for growing fruit and vegetables to develop into another micro business.
The first area is a gravelled potting area with raised beds, greenhouses and seating. This is where the plants will start their journey.
Area 2 is where plants can be planted directly into the ground or into a number of large planters that have been made on site.
Area 3 is a large grassed field that we hope to be able to grow produce all year round with the aid of a large walk in Polly tunnel.
All our enterprise activities are student driven.

Responsibility and independence are promoted throughout all opportunities.

This will form part of another Reach Micro business selling fruit, vegetables and flowers from a small farm shop on site,
We also aim to become self sufficient as well as being able to support the menu that forms part of the startuck Enterprise business
